Love doesn’t always arrive the way we expect it to. In Episode 1 of Mujhe Rang De, we meet Agastya, a closeted gay man trying to sustain a relationship that feels safe but incomplete. He is with Meera, even as a quiet distance between them keeps growing. Shikhar, Meera’s closest friend and someone Agastya has known for years, starts to sense that Agastya is carrying a truth he has never been able to voice. When Shikhar begins to connect the dots, Agastya’s carefully held world starts to shift. At the same time, Meera — who has been feeling that something is amiss for a long while — makes the difficult decision to end the relationship. Heartbroken and confused, Agastya reaches out to Shikhar for support. What begins as comfort… slowly turns into connection. Is this just friendship?
